CARSON CITY, NV — A 19-year-old man from Pollock Pines, California, died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 50 near Spooner Summit on Saturday afternoon.
Justin A. Breese lost control of his 2008 Kawasaki motorcycle approximately 1 mile east of Spooner Summit, resulting in him being ejected from the vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene due to injuries sustained in the accident, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP).
Authorities said speed may have contributed to the crash. The NHP’s Multi-disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team is currently investigating the incident.
Emergency response teams arrived at the location to assist, though specific details regarding additional injuries or road conditions at the time were not confirmed.
