PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — A motorcyclist was killed in a collision with another vehicle Saturday afternoon at Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 28th Avenue.
Central Precinct officers responded at 2:09 p.m. March 21 to the crash scene. Paramedics transported the motorcyclist to a hospital, where the individual was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. Police have not confirmed the type of vehicle involved or released the identities of those involved.
The Major Crash Team is conducting an investigation into the incident. Southeast Powell Boulevard is closed between Southeast 26th Avenue and Southeast 29th Avenue during the investigation.
