One dead and three injured in motorcycle crash in Fargo.

FARGO — A motorcycle crash late Thursday night in south Fargo resulted in one death and three injuries.

The incident occurred shortly before 10:45 p.m. at the intersection of 25th Street and 13th Avenue South. According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, a 2014 Harley Davidson 883 motorcycle ran a red light and collided with a 2015 Mazda 3.

The motorcycle driver, a 47-year-old man from Fargo, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, a 19-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Two 21-year-old women in the Mazda sustained injuries deemed non-life-threatening and were also hospitalized.

Both motorcycle riders were not wearing helmets at the time of the crash. The North Dakota Highway Patrol is actively investigating the incident and plans to release the identities of those involved later today or Saturday. Lane closures were reported at the intersection during the emergency response.
