One Injured in Oak Ridge Crash Involving Tree Collision
OAK RIDGE, Mo. (WSIL) – An 18-year-old woman was injured early Saturday after her vehicle struck a tree in Oak Ridge.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on March 21 at 12:48 a.m. on County Road 432, approximately one mile east of Oak Ridge.
Authorities reported the woman from Jackson was driving a 2010 Mazda Tribute eastbound when she ran off the left side of the road, colliding with a tree. She was transported to St. Francis Medical Center with moderate injuries.
Police noted the driver was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. An investigation is ongoing, and there were no other vehicles involved.
Lane closures were not reported in connection with this incident.
