Fairfield, CA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Multi-Vehicle Collision on I-80
A motorcyclist sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on eastbound Interstate 80 near the Travis Boulevard off-ramp on Friday morning at 9:04 a.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident involved a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a white truck, and at least one other vehicle. Initial reports suggest the motorcyclist may have been speeding before colliding with another vehicle.
Emergency crews found the rider down on the roadway and reported major injuries. The California Highway Patrol confirmed that all freeway lanes were blocked during the emergency response. Traffic was cleared, and all lanes reopened by approximately 9:59 a.m.
