Eddyville Motorcycle Crash Hospitalizes 13-Year-Old Passenger
A 13-year-old motorcycle passenger was hospitalized following a collision with an Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife patrol vehicle on Sunday in Eddyville.
The incident occurred around 2:41 p.m. in the 600 block of Nashville Road, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office. Two 13-year-olds were riding the motorcycle on private property before entering the roadway and colliding with the patrol vehicle.
The motorcycle struck the passenger side of the patrol vehicle, causing both riders to be ejected. The passenger sustained significant injuries to his left leg and foot, which were caught under the patrol vehicle. He was transported to a hospital in Corvallis for treatment and is expected to recover.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Further details have not been disclosed.
