A motorcycle crash on US 95 in Churchill County resulted in a fatality on September 14, authorities said.
Bill Dale Davis Jr., 35, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, was involved in the collision around 11:42 a.m. when his motorcycle struck a semi-truck. According to the Nevada Highway Patrol (NHP), Davis was traveling northbound on a 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle when, for unknown reasons, he crossed into the southbound lane and collided with a 2017 Peterbilt semi-truck.
Davis was ejected from the motorcycle and later succumbed to his injuries. The accident prompted the response of NHP troopers, who are conducting an investigation through the Multi-disciplinary Investigation and Reconstruction Team (M.I.R.T.).
