OSP Reports Four Fatal Crashes Across Oregon.

Thursday, Dec. 4

  • 11:13 p.m. — A single-vehicle crash on Highway 138E, approximately 6 miles south of Kellogg in Douglas County, resulted in the death of 30-year-old Domonik Randsome Wright from Roseburg. According to the Oregon State Police (OSP), Wright was driving an eastbound Chrysler 200 when it left the roadway, became airborne, landed in a field, and rolled before igniting. Wright was pronounced dead at the scene.

Friday, Dec. 5

  • 2:14 p.m. — A crash on Highway 58, about 6 miles east of McCredie Springs in Lane County, claimed the life of 37-year-old Jessica Nicole Ingoglia from Klamath Falls. OSP reported that Ingoglia’s westbound Audi Q5 left its lane, crossed into oncoming traffic, and hit a dirt embankment. Ingoglia, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was declared dead at the scene. A male passenger, also 37 and from Klamath Falls, and an 8-year-old girl passenger both sustained critical injuries and were transported to a local hospital.

Sunday, Dec. 7

  • 6:13 p.m. — A vehicle-pedestrian accident on Highway 99 (Rogue River Highway) in Medford resulted in the death of 43-year-old Jarrod Edward Garwood from Rogue River. OSP stated that Garwood was pushing a go-kart when he was struck by a southbound Hyundai Elantra driven by 28-year-old Bobbie Rae Stinson-Payne of Grants Pass. After fleeing the scene, Stinson-Payne later contacted law enforcement. Garwood was pronounced dead at the scene, while a 41-year-old occupant of the go-kart suffered minor injuries. Stinson-Payne faces charges including manslaughter.

Tuesday, Dec. 9

  • 5:20 p.m. — A three-vehicle collision on Highway 38, around 3 miles east of Green Acres in Douglas County, resulted in the death of 48-year-old David Michael Lawson from Elkton. According to OSP, Lawson was driving an eastbound Buick Enclave that entered the westbound lane and collided with a semitruck driven by a 65-year-old man from Vancouver, Washington. The Enclave then spun and was struck by a westbound Buick LaCrosse driven by a 53-year-old woman from Elkton, rolling onto its side. Lawson was pronounced dead at the scene, while the truck driver sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital.
