BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) – A 64-year-old motorcycle rider was killed in a crash on I-59/29 North in Birmingham on Saturday, April 11.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as Melvin Gordon of Pleasant Grove.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:34 p.m. near Arkadelphia Road and involved two vehicles, with Gordon as the sole motorcyclist.

The Birmingham Police Department is conducting an investigation into the accident.
No further details about injuries to other parties or the cause of the collision have been released.
