WATERFORD — A 55-year-old man from Rhode Island was killed in a motorcycle crash Saturday night on Route 32, police said.
Thomas Peabody of Westerly was pronounced dead at the scene after his motorcycle struck a guardrail southbound on Route 32, near Richards Grove Road, at approximately 11:20 p.m., authorities reported.
The Harley Davidson FLHXS Peabody was riding ejected him into a wooded area, and police confirmed no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The Shoreline Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team is conducting the investigation.
