A motorcycle crash in Madison claimed the life of a 28-year-old man on October 4 at approximately 1:43 p.m.
According to Connecticut State Police, Joseph R. Baez of Providence was operating a motorcycle south of Exit 60 when he collided with a Subaru Crosstrek. Police reported Baez was traveling at a high speed and that his motorcycle lacked a license plate.
The 74-year-old female driver of the Subaru, from Guilford, was uninjured and did not require medical attention.
Emergency Medical Services transported Baez to Yale New Haven Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the crash is under investigation.
