Motorcyclist Dies in Cheyenne Crash on Dell Range Boulevard
CHEYENNE, Wyo. — A 24-year-old motorcyclist died following a crash on Dell Range Boulevard on Monday, according to the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP) and Cheyenne Police Department (CPD).
The rider, whose identity is pending release from the Laramie County Coroner’s Office, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials noted that speed may have contributed to the accident.
Preliminary reports indicate the incident occurred when the driver of a van made a left turn from the King Soopers parking lot, entering the path of the motorcycle. The motorcyclist reportedly attempted to brake but lost control, resulting in a collision.
As of Tuesday, the CPD’s Major Crash Unit is conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident. Further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
