SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. —
A motorcycle crash in Spartanburg County on Saturday evening resulted in one fatality, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred just before 6 p.m. on Mud Creek Road, near the intersection of Hickory Nut Road. Authorities stated the motorcyclist, traveling west, veered off the road and collided with a guard rail.
Troopers confirmed that the motorcyclist was the sole occupant of the vehicle, and no other vehicles were involved. The driver was transported to a local hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.
The identity of the victim has not been disclosed. The incident remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
