One Injured in Scott County Collision Involving Passenger Van and Motorcycle
SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. — One individual sustained serious injuries in a collision involving a passenger van and a motorcycle on Friday, according to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office.
The crash occurred around 5:40 p.m. at the intersection of Ironworks Road and Midway Road, near Georgetown. Deputies confirmed that the Georgetown/Scott County Collision Investigation Unit was activated due to the severity of the incident.
One individual was transported to a Lexington hospital, but their condition remains undisclosed. The sheriff’s office stated that the incident is still under investigation.
Authorities thanked Georgetown/Scott County Fire, EMS, and Emergency Management Agency for their assistance at the scene.
