A motorcycle crash in Rutherford resulted in a fatality Sunday morning, according to New Jersey State Police.
At approximately 9:30 a.m., Ardjent Shaini, 51, of Staten Island lost control of his Kawasaki motorcycle on the northbound western spur of the Turnpike near milepost 111.6. The motorcycle overturned, struck a guardrail, and Shaini was ejected, sustaining fatal injuries.
Authorities confirmed that the incident is under investigation. No further details have been released.
