PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Three individuals died in a multi-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and two cars late Tuesday night in Prince George’s County.
Authorities responded to the incident at 11:25 p.m. at the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Metzerott Road. The crash involved a motorcycle and two other vehicles.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, along with two occupants of a second vehicle.
According to police, two individuals in a third vehicle sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
Roads in the vicinity were closed for several hours but reopened around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
