PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (7News) — Three individuals died in a late-night crash involving a motorcycle and two vehicles on Tuesday in Prince George’s County.
According to police, officers were dispatched at 11:25 p.m. to the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Metzerott Road for a collision involving a motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider was pronounced dead at the scene, as were two occupants of a second vehicle.
A third vehicle was also involved, with two occupants transported to a hospital; their injuries were not life-threatening.
Roads in the area were closed for several hours, reopening shortly before 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
