Three Motorcyclists Killed in Idaho County Crash Identified as Larimer County Sheriff’s Office Members

KOOSKIA, Idaho — Three motorcyclists died in a crash on U.S. Highway 12 near Kooskia on June 16, authorities confirmed.

The Idaho State Police reported that the motorcyclists were struck around 4 p.m. by a 2019 Ford F-150 that crossed the double center line east of Kooskia, near milepost 113. The victims were identified as Sgt. Jeremy Coleman, 45, Deputy Ethan Powers, 35, and Nathan McCormick, 26, all from Colorado.

A Colorado Springs woman, 60-year-old Neale Brewer, was arrested on probable cause for three counts of vehicular manslaughter in connection with the incident. She has been booked into the Idaho County Jail.

U.S. Highway 12 was closed for over six hours for emergency response and evidence processing. Agencies involved included the Idaho County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho County Coroner’s Office, and Idaho Transportation Department.

The Idaho County Coroner confirmed the identities of the deceased motorcyclists. Local fire and EMS personnel also assisted at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
