Two Injured in Montgomery Township Motorcycle Crash at Five Points Intersection

Montgomery Township, PA — Two individuals were injured in a motorcycle crash involving a car at the Five Points intersection on Monday evening, according to police.

The incident occurred at 5:51 p.m. and involved a red 2008 Toyota Prius, driven by a 31-year-old woman from Quakertown, and a 2006 Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by a 61-year-old man from Horsham. Police stated that the Toyota was eastbound on Cowpath Road, preparing to turn left onto Route 309 northbound, when the motorcycle, traveling west on Route 463, collided with the front of the vehicle.

Emergency response teams transported both injured parties to Grand View Hospital. The driver of the Toyota experienced neck, shoulder, and torso pain. The motorcyclist sustained head, body, and leg injuries.

Route 309 at Route 463 was partially closed during the response and investigation. Authorities confirmed that the accident remains under investigation, and any potential charges will be determined once the investigation is complete.

Montgomery Township Police were assisted at the scene by VMSC EMS, the Fire Department of Montgomery Township, Montgomery Township Fire Police, and the Lansdale Police Department.
