Two Dead in LSU Campus Collision on Nicholson Drive
Baton Rouge, LA – A motorcycle and car collision occurred on LSU’s campus at approximately 5:30 p.m. on February 26, resulting in two fatalities, LSU Police confirmed.
Authorities reported that the crash happened at the intersection of Nicholson Drive and South Quad Drive. One of the victims has been identified as an LSU student. The identities of both victims have not yet been publicly released.
Emergency response teams, including LSU Police, arrived on the scene shortly after the incident. Witnesses noted multiple vehicles were involved, but specifics on injury severity are limited.
All lanes on Nicholson Drive at South Quad were temporarily closed for investigation and cleanup. Tow trucks were dispatched for the vehicles involved.
