Two Arrested After Motorcycle Accident in Grand Island
GRAND ISLAND – Two men were arrested following a motorcycle accident on July 24 at 8:42 p.m. near Madison Street and West Second Street.
Authorities reported that Brian Starkey, 38, of Central City, was driving a car that was trailing a motorcycle operated by Edward Beam, 34, of Grand Island.
Beam was charged with felony DUI, having two prior convictions, as well as misdemeanor counts for no proof of insurance and no valid registration. Starkey faces charges for misdemeanor third-offense DUI.
Emergency responders attended the scene, but no injuries were reported. The accident led to temporary lane closures while authorities conducted an investigation.
