Multiple Vehicle Crash on I-95 in Downtown, 2 Injured
A multi-vehicle accident occurred on I-95 North near downtown at 3:15 p.m. on October 4, resulting in two injuries.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the collision involved four vehicles and caused significant lane closures in the northbound direction. Emergency responders from the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department provided medical aid at the scene.
Authorities confirmed that two individuals were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No fatalities were reported.
Traffic was diverted for over an hour as crews cleared the wreckage. The roadway was reopened by 4:30 p.m.
