Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-95 Leaves Two Injured in New Castle
A multi-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 95 in New Castle on October 10 at approximately 3:15 p.m.
According to the DELAWARE STATE POLICE, three vehicles were involved in the collision, which took place in the southbound lanes near Exit 4. Emergency responders, including the New Castle County Fire Department, arrived at the scene to provide medical aid.
Authorities confirmed two individuals sustained minor injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment. The crash prompted the closure of two southbound lanes, resulting in significant traffic delays.
As of 4:45 p.m., the road remained partially blocked while crews cleared the debris, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is ongoing. No fatalities have been reported at this time.
