Two-Vehicle Collision on Interstate 90 Results in Injuries, Lane Closures
A two-vehicle accident occurred on Interstate 90 near mile marker 150 in Erie County on October 9, 2023, around 4:15 p.m.
According to the New York State Police, the crash involved a sedan and a pickup truck traveling westbound. Emergency responders reported that three individuals sustained injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities confirmed that both vehicles required towing from the scene, leading to the closure of the right lane for approximately one hour while debris was cleared.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation. No fatalities were reported.
