A 24-year-old motorcyclist died in a crash northwest of DePue on Tuesday evening.
Joan Garcia of DePue was pronounced dead at the scene around 7 p.m. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of Arlington Drive, with Garcia as the sole occupant of the motorcycle; no other vehicles were involved.
According to authorities, an Illinois State Police Accident Reconstructionist is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
