Woman dies following motorcycle crash in Clermont County, say troopers.

A Batavia woman died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash in Stonelick Township on Thursday night.

The incident occurred shortly after 10 p.m. on US Route 50, near milepost 8, as reported by the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP).

According to authorities, 38-year-old Emily Koeppe was riding a 2013 Harley Davidson Forty-Eight southeast on US 50 when she overturned on a curve, leading the motorcycle to strike a guardrail.

Koeppe suffered serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby landing zone for airlift to UC Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead before the flight.

OSHP confirmed that Koeppe was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Assistance was provided on scene by Stonelick Township Fire and EMS, Clermont County Sheriff’s Office, UC AirCare, Clermont County Coroner’s Office, and Tarvin’s Towing.

The crash remains under investigation, authorities said.
