Albuquerque – A motorcyclist died from injuries sustained in a crash on I-40 westbound at Eubank on August 19 at 6:20 p.m.
According to the New Mexico State Police, the individual involved was transported to UNM Hospital but succumbed to injuries during transit. The identity of the rider is pending confirmation by the Office of the Medical Investigator (OMI).
Authorities reported that a white 2006 Honda motorcycle was traveling westbound when it collided with the impact zone at the Jersey barrier at the Eubank off-ramp.
The crash remains under investigation, with further details expected to be released as they become available. No additional injuries or other vehicles involved have been confirmed.
