Egg Harbor Township, N.J. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car in Egg Harbor Township near the Somers Point border on Thursday night.
According to Egg Harbor Township police, the accident happened around 8:13 p.m. on Longport Boulevard.
A Somers Point man was riding a 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle on Longport Boulevard westbound on the highway when he drifted into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with an oncoming 2010 Nissan Rogue.
A 2020 Porsche Cayenne was also involved in the accident.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 17-year-old girl from Glassboro driving the Nissan suffered minor injuries but declined treatment.
The two occupants of the Porsche were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
