Motorcyclist Dies in Portland Collision on Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 140th Avenue
Portland, Oregon (September 6, 2023) – A motorcyclist died after colliding with a car Sunday afternoon in Portland, the Portland Police Bureau reported.
Officers from the PPB’s East Precinct responded to Southeast Powell Boulevard and Southeast 140th Avenue after receiving reports of a crash around 5 p.m. on September 3.
The officers found a motorcycle and a car involved in the accident.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
No information was immediately available about the cause and manner of the collision.
PPB’s Major Crash Team closed SE Powell Boulevard between SE 136th Avenue and SE 141st Avenue as they investigated.
