Motorcyclist Killed in Dauphin County Crash with Tractor-Trailer
DAUPHIN COUNTY, PA — A motorcyclist was fatally injured in a collision with a tractor-trailer on Friday, October 13, 2023, at approximately 5:15 p.m. on Route 22 East.
The crash involved one motorcycle and one tractor-trailer, authorities said. Upon arrival, first responders from the DAUPHIN COUNTY EMERGENCY SERVICES and local police confirmed that the motorcyclist, a 32-year-old male, sustained critical injuries and died at the scene.
Traffic was affected, with the eastbound lanes of Route 22 closed for several hours while the investigation was conducted. Towing companies were dispatched to remove the vehicles involved.
