LA CROSSE (WKBT) — A 20-year-old man is dead following a motorcycle crash at the intersection of West Avenue and Farnam Street on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the La Crosse Police Department, Braeden Felber was operating the motorcycle involved in the collision. Life-saving measures were attempted on scene before he was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The crash, reported around 1 p.m., involved a motorcycle and a car. Authorities said the investigation remains open as they work to determine the cause of the accident.
Traffic flow has been disrupted in the area, with both northbound lanes and one southbound lane of West Avenue closed for the investigation. Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes and exercise caution near the scene.
