Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 78-Year-Old in Columbia Borough

COLUMBIA, Pa. — A 78-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash on Saturday morning in Columbia Borough.

The incident occurred around 6 a.m. near the intersection of 12th Street and Lancaster Avenue. Authorities reported that a trike-style motorcycle was found on its side, with the rider located on the sidewalk. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

Emergency responders treated the rider on the scene before transporting him to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. The Lancaster County Coroner identified the victim as Amos Stoltzfus of Wrightsville. The cause of death has been determined to be multiple blunt force trauma, and the manner of death is classified as an accident.

Local authorities are conducting a thorough investigation into the incident.
