Motorcyclist injured in collision with deer in Ralls County.

A motorcycle crash late Thursday night in Ralls County left a man seriously injured, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The incident occurred at approximately 11:53 p.m. on April 9, 2026, on Route HH, about four miles west of Hannibal. A 34-year-old man from Hannibal was riding a 1977 Yamaha motorcycle eastbound when he struck a deer in the roadway.

Emergency responders transported the man to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. He was reported to be wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

The motorcycle suffered minor damage and was towed from the scene by Branhams. Assisting agencies included the Ralls County Sheriff’s Office, Marion County Ambulance, Hannibal Rural Fire, and additional personnel from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The crash remains under investigation.
