Accidents Reported Across Missouri Over the Weekend

Multiple accidents across Missouri resulted in injuries over the weekend, with several incidents involving overturned vehicles.

On Friday, a 58-year-old man from Mountain View sustained moderate injuries after his semi overturned on Highway 101, three miles south of Bakersfield. Emergency responders arrived at 2:41 p.m. to assist.

Also on Friday, a 56-year-old man from Winona suffered moderate injuries when he drove off Missouri D and crashed into a tree, six miles east of Summersville.

A 41-year-old man from Eminence experienced minor injuries after his pickup overturned on U.S. 60, three miles west of Montier.

On Saturday, three individuals suffered serious injuries in a four-vehicle collision on Missouri K, three miles north of Ava. Authorities reported that an 86-year-old man from Mountain Home crossed the centerline and struck a tractor driven by a man from Seymour. This vehicle then collided head-on with another car from Seymour, while yet another vehicle hit the rear of the latter. The injured include the Mountain Home driver and his 85-year-old passenger, both suffering serious injuries, along with a 40-year-old man from Seymour.

A 61-year-old man from Lebanon was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident on Missouri 17, five miles north of Roby. He lost control after hitting a missing section of road.

Additionally, a 51-year-old man from Bunker sustained minor injuries after crashing into a tree on County Road 263, fifteen miles northeast of Eminence.

A 64-year-old man from Lake St. Louis was injured when a Licking resident failed to yield on U.S. 63, five miles north of Licking.

On Sunday, a 16-year-old from Raymondville suffered minor injuries after overturning his pickup on Highway B, two miles west of Raymondville. A 17-year-old male from West Plains also sustained moderate injuries after losing control on Highway 5, five miles north of Gainesville.

Authorities continue to investigate these incidents and the details surrounding them.
