COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – A motorcyclist died in a crash early Saturday on West Las Vegas Street near Interstate 25, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene shortly after 1:15 a.m. for an injury accident. A motorcycle traveling westbound reportedly crossed into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on with an eastbound vehicle.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Colorado Springs Police Department’s Major Crash Team is leading the investigation, considering speed as a potential factor.
The crash investigation is ongoing.
