A 34-year-old Woodbridge man died following a motorcycle crash in Warren County on Sunday morning.
According to Virginia State Police, the incident occurred around 11:30 a.m. on Interstate 66, near the 10-mile marker. A 2006 Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle was traveling westbound when it veered off the right side of the road, struck a guardrail, and caught fire.
The rider, identified as Tyler Santos, was ejected from the motorcycle upon impact. Witnesses reported that he was wearing a helmet during the crash. Santos was transported to an area hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Authorities stated that the investigation into the crash is ongoing. No additional details regarding lane closures or towing were provided.
