Motorcycle Crash Claims Life of 30-Year-Old in Marion
MARION, OH (Local News Wire) — A single-vehicle motorcycle crash early Friday morning resulted in the death of a 30-year-old Marion man, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred on June 12, 2026, at approximately 12:18 a.m. on Presidential Drive near Willow Street.
Authorities identified the victim as Linken J. Tyler. He was traveling northbound on a 2019 Harley-Davidson Street Glide Special when he lost control, struck a curb, and was ejected from the motorcycle.
Emergency medical personnel transported Tyler to Marion General Hospital, where he was later transferred to Grant Medical Center via Med-Flight Ground and subsequently pronounced dead.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol received assistance at the scene from the Marion City Police Department, Marion City Fire and EMS, as well as Ed’s 24-Hour Service Towing.
The crash is under investigation by state troopers.
