HAMPTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — A motorcycle crash claimed the life of a 63-year-old man in Sussex County on Tuesday afternoon.
At approximately 2:54 p.m., New Jersey State Police responded to a crash on County Road 622 East near milepost 1.5. Authorities said Stephen Paino of Newton was riding a Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound when he veered off the roadway, struck a rock, and overturned.
Paino sustained fatal injuries in the incident, according to authorities. The cause of the crash is under investigation, and no further details have been released.
