Motorcycle Crash in Kershaw County Claims Life of Virginia Man
KERSHAW COUNTY, S.C. — A motorcycle crash on Sunday morning claimed the life of a 66-year-old man from Charlottesville, Virginia.
According to the Kershaw County Coroner’s Office, the incident occurred around 8 a.m. near the intersection of McBee Highway and Mt. Pisgah Road. Authorities reported that Dennis Roethlisberger was riding east on Mt. Pisgah Road when his motorcycle collided with a northbound minivan on McBee Highway.
The coroner’s office confirmed that Roethlisberger died at the scene. No injuries were reported for the occupants of the minivan.
South Carolina Highway Patrol is conducting an investigation into the crash.
