DERRY, N.H. —
A 61-year-old man died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash on Island Pond Road Sunday evening, according to the Derry Police Department.
Emergency personnel were dispatched to the scene just before 5:30 p.m. for a serious motor vehicle collision. First responders attempted life-saving measures on the motorcycle driver, identified as Christopher Chick of Derry, but he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Derry Police Department’s Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the crash, which led to the temporary closure of Island Pond Road. The roadway has since been reopened.
