Motorcycle Rider Identified Following Fatal Collision with Motorhome on Main Ave. in Fargo.

Motorcycle Crash in Fargo Leaves 34-Year-Old Dead

FARGO, N.D. (KVRR) — A motorcycle collision on Main Avenue claimed the life of a 34-year-old West Fargo man on Wednesday afternoon.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol reported that the crash occurred around 3:50 p.m. at the intersection of Main Avenue and 42nd Street. The rider, identified as Christopher Bredemus, was transported to Sanford Medical Center with life-threatening injuries and later died.

Authorities stated that Bredemus was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident. The motorhome involved, driven by an 86-year-old man from Grand Forks, was making a left turn into a parking lot when the motorcycle crashed into its passenger side. The driver of the motorhome sustained no injuries.

Authorities are investigating potential charges against the motorhome driver.

The crash resulted in the closure of westbound traffic on Main Avenue between 40th and 43 ½ Streets. Eastbound traffic remained open. According to Fargo Police, the scene was cleared by 8 p.m., and traffic resumed in all directions.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is reconstructing the crash as part of its investigation. Witnesses reported heavy traffic delays in the area during the incident.
