DERRY, NH — A motorcycle crash on Island Pond Road left one man dead on Sunday evening.
At approximately 5:23 p.m., Derry Police responded to a serious motor vehicle accident involving a single motorcycle near 71 Island Pond Road. Emergency personnel arrived on the scene and performed life-saving measures on the driver, identified as 61-year-old Christopher Chick. He was transported by ambulance to Parkland Medical Center but later succumbed to his injuries, according to authorities.
Island Pond Road was closed for several hours during the investigation but has since reopened. The crash remains under investigation by Derry Police.
