Louisiana Couple Dies After Three-Wheeled Motorcycle Crash

A Louisiana couple died in a crash involving their three-wheeled motorcycle on Interstate 10 east, near mile marker 868, at approximately 10:40 AM on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Michael Douvio, 71, and Lynette Douvio, 69, from Duson, Louisiana. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the motorcycle, which was towing a small trailer, suffered a rear tire blowout before striking a concrete barrier, causing both individuals to be ejected.
Michael Douvio was pronounced dead at the scene by a Justice of the Peace. Lynette Douvio was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was also pronounced dead by medical staff.
Emergency response included the Texas Department of Public Safety. The crash resulted in lane closures for several hours as investigators conducted their inquiry. The investigation remains ongoing.
