Kennewick Father Dies in Motorcycle Crash on Highway 395.

Kennewick, WA — A 36-year-old man died in a motorcycle crash on Highway 395 near the blue bridge on Wednesday around 4 p.m.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the victim, identified as Domotello L. Johnson, lost control of his Yamaha YSF-R1 while exiting toward Columbia Drive. Witnesses reported he was traveling at high speed prior to hitting a guardrail, resulting in a fall of over 40 feet to the city street below.

Johnson sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, despite wearing a helmet. The off-ramp was closed for several hours as investigators examined the incident. Authorities have not yet confirmed the exact speed at which he was traveling during the crash.

Emergency response included officers from the Kennewick Police Department. Johnson was the father of five children, and family members described him as a caring individual with a passion for motorcycling.

This incident remains under investigation by the Washington State Patrol. No further details on the cause or conditions leading to the crash have been released.
