MOREHOUSE PARISH, La. (KNOE) – A single-vehicle crash in Galion on Thursday, July 23, resulted in a fatality.
The incident occurred on Cooper Lake Road around 4 a.m., according to Louisiana State Police.
Officials reported that 46-year-old Pamela Reynolds of Bastrop was driving south when her vehicle veered off the road and struck a tree.
Authorities confirmed that Reynolds was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries, dying at the scene.
Although impairment is not suspected, toxicology samples have been collected for routine analysis. The investigation is ongoing.
