A motorcyclist died Tuesday after a collision with a utility truck in Hopkinsville, KY.
HOPKINSVILLE, KY – A 55-year-old man, identified as Joe Taylor, succumbed to injuries from a motorcycle accident that occurred just before noon on May 19 at the intersection of Means Avenue and North Virginia Street.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, the motorcycle collided with a utility bucket truck, causing the rider to be ejected from the bike. Emergency crews performed life-saving measures on-site before transporting Taylor to Jennie Stuart Medical Center with CPR in progress.
The Christian County Coroner confirmed Taylor’s death occurred as a result of the accident.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
