A multi-vehicle accident on I-75 in Monroe County resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries, according to the Michigan State Police.
Authorities reported that the crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. today, involving three vehicles traveling southbound near exit 15.
Emergency responders transported two individuals to nearby hospitals. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
As a result of the collision, two southbound lanes were closed for over an hour for cleanup and investigation.
The Michigan State Police are currently investigating the cause of the crash.
