Multiple-Vehicle Crash on I-95 Leaves One Fatality, Several Injured
A multi-vehicle collision on I-95 North near mile marker 42 resulted in one fatality and multiple injuries on October 14 at approximately 2:41 p.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the crash involved five vehicles, including two commercial trucks and three sedans. Emergency responders from the local fire department and Emergency Medical Services arrived on the scene shortly after the incident was reported.
Authorities confirmed that one individual was pronounced dead at the scene, while three others received medical attention for non-life-threatening injuries. Their identities have not been released pending notification of family members.
The northbound lanes of I-95 were closed for nearly two hours due to wreckage and debris removal, creating significant traffic delays. All affected vehicles were towed from the scene.
