One person died and two others were critically injured in a motorcycle crash on Clinton Highway in Knoxville on Thursday evening.
The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. near the intersection with Hinton Road, involving a motorcycle and an SUV. According to the KNOXVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT, the motorcycle driver, a 34-year-old male, was pronounced dead at the scene. The two passengers on the motorcycle, aged 25 and 31, were transported to local hospitals in critical condition.
Emergency responders from the Knoxville Fire Department and AMBULANCE SERVICE provided medical aid at the scene. Authorities closed several lanes of Clinton Highway while they investigated the accident.
