A 70-year-old man died following a motorcycle crash in Calhoun County on Saturday afternoon.
According to the CALHOUN COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE, the incident occurred at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Interstate 94 near mile marker 97. A motorcycle and a passenger vehicle were involved in the collision. The rider sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency responders from the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office and local medical units were dispatched, providing medical aid to the injured. The eastbound lanes of Interstate 94 were temporarily closed for investigation and cleanup, resulting in significant traffic delays.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash, and no further details regarding other involved parties were immediately available. Towing services have been called to remove the vehicles from the roadway.
